Amiah Hospital was established in 2012 by Dr. Aduko Amiah, a dedicated medical doctor who saw the need for accessible, dependable , affordable healthcare in the Upper East Region. What began as a small hospital has grown into a reputable hospital offering a wide range of services including General Practice, Surgery, Maternity Care, Audiology, Laboratory Services and more.
Over the years, the hospital has expanded its facilities, introduced modern diagnostic tools, and strengthened its team to meet the growing needs of the community. Amiah Hospital continues to uphold its founding vision of delivering quality care with compassion and integrity.

Dr. Aduko Amiah is an experienced consultant General Surgeon with a strong passion for health. With years of service in the three northern regions of Ghana, he founded Amiah Hospital with the belief that every patient deserves dignified, accessible, and high-quality healthcare.
